A MAN was arrested after row in the centre of Worcester this morning.
The incident happened shortly after 10am at the Cornmarket end of Mealcheapen Street, outside the Royal Exchange pub.
One man allegedly assaulted another, causing him injuries including bleeding from a head wound.
A man was arrested, although police could give no further details.
The injured party declined hospital treatment, a police spokesman said.
Part of Mealcheapen street where the attack occurred was cordoned off with crime-scene tape while police investigated the incident.
The street, which is pedestrianised, was later re-opened.
