STAFF at Evesham's Marks and Spencer store got in the saddle last month to raise cash for two charities.
The team from the shop in Worcester Road set off bright and early at 6.30am last month and cycled to Lichfield and over to Stratford as part of the event.
Employees from 20 stores across the West Midlands took part in the Tour de France-inspired relay event, raising more than £7,500 for Prostate Cancer UK and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Store manager Sean Phillips, whop organised the challenge, said: “We were blown away by the generosity of the shoppers in Evesham and the other locations too and certainly kept that in our thoughts during the ride.
"The challenge was hard, but knowing we were raising money for such worthwhile causes was motivation enough to keep us going.
"There was a real camaraderie amongst the group and I’m proud of our employees for ploughing through and thankful to our customers for digging deep in their pockets.”
