A BUSY Worcester road which was closed when a water pipe burst on Monday has been reopened.
Despite Severn Trent saying that the work to repair the pipe in Hylton Road, St John's, was complicated and work could continue through the week, the one lane on the road has been reopened to traffic and is under traffic light control.
The spokesman for the water company said because of how close the burst pipe was to another it was difficult to repair, but cars are now able to pass by the continued work hopefully facing less disruption along Henwick Road, where a diversion was in place.
