TWO chainsaws were stolen from a van in Green Lane, Malvern between 5pm on Tuesday, August 5 and 1am the next day.
The police were called to the area at 1.22am after a report from a resident said they had heard the clattering of metal and a man swearing loudly.
Police searched the area but found no trace of anyone.
Later it was discovered the two petrol chainsaws, one Stihl and one Tanaka, had been stolen along with a toolbox from within.
