WALKING boots were pulled on by staff at a city centre opticians who were raising money for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
The team began their ten-mile walk from the Specsavers store, Broad Street, Worcester, on Sunday afternoon and walked around the city, asking shoppers to donate to their cause.
Alan Richards, store director, said: "We’re proud to be supporting the RNIB and we hope our walk around Worcester will generate lots of attention and support for the charity.
"All the money we raised will go directly to the RNIB which does excellent work across the country."
After the store closed at 4.30pm,the team were joined by more staff to bolster the fundraising effort.
