THE FOUR men which were arrested following the outbreak of a mass-brawl have been confirmed as being from Malvern, Pershore and Evesham.

They were a 19 year-old male from Pershore, a second 19 year-old from Pershore, a 31 year-old from Malvern and an 18 year-old from Evesham.

The four men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, and have been bailed until Monday, September 29.

More than 50 people were involved in the brawl, including revellers and police, in which a number of officers were assaulted, suffering minor injuries.

The incident happened at around 4am, on Monday, August 25, outside the McDonald's store in the The Foregate, Worcester city centre.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0089s of Monday 25 August 2014.

I see the police are appealing for witnesses ,even though they were there whilst it happened ! Again shows police incompetence and I would guarantee you if you made a statement they would soon have you stood in court giving evidence for them , whether you wanted to or not . This is just more of a sign the police are incapable of protecting you or I as they can't protect themselves

they may be appealing for some sober witnesses
