BUSINESS people are being challenged to deliver the perfect pitch in just seven seconds at a breakfast and networking meeting.

Heidi Chamberlain Jones, founder and managing director of Minx Media, will be sharing expert advice and experience during Finditinworcestershire's Pitching to Win at Worcester Warrior's Sixways Stadium on Tuesday, September 16.

She will demonstrate how to make a memorable impression at every opportunity, including developing the perfect seven-second elevator pitch for those moments when people might share an elevator with a potential client.

Newly-perfected pitches will be put to the test in an open networking session which is usually attended by about 130 people.

Kathryn Wagstaff, project manager of Finditinworcestershire, said: “The ability to explain the benefits of products and services in a very brief meeting can be vital to the success of small and medium sized enterprises, but it’s rarely a skill that comes naturally.

"Heidi Chamberlain Jones is a proven expert and a professional trainer, so this event is a great opportunity for our members to learn a valuable new skill and put it to the test, all for free.”

The special event, which runs from 6.45am to 9.30am, is free for members of Finditinworcestershire to attend and places can be booked by visiting www.finditinworcestershire.com.

Unregistered businesses can sign up for free.
