GIVE as you Live, a software product from Evesham-based company Everyclick, has helped Cheltenham Animal Shelter increase regular donations.

Supporters of the shelter have been shopping online and raising money through the fund raising tool, which redirects donations from the retailers like John Lewis and Marks and Spencer when a purchase is made. So far more than £800 has been raised for the shelter, which looks after 1,000 plus animals a year and relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and fundraisers to provide the necessary finance to survive.

Reuben Croft, community fundraiser at Cheltenham Animal Shelter, said: “Give as you Live is a fantastic fundraising tool, it’s so easy and simple to use. We feature Give as you Live in our e-newsletters and website, and have received many donations from shoppers over the past year. The team at Give as you Live are brilliant and the support received really makes a difference. Their fundraising kit is built with simplicity in mind and each week we receive our beautiful marketing materials which help promote our cause, saving us time and money. If we do ever have any questions they are always at the end of the phone to help.”

Annabelle Risdon, head of charities at Give as you Live, added: "It’s great to see people’s regular online shopping is able to make such a massive difference to Cheltenham Animal Shelter – especially as it provides the shelter with regular revenue in the long term.”
