YOUNG fans of the Despicable Me films got the chance to meet a Minion at a Worcester pub last week.
O'Neills in St Nicholas Street held a family fun day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Sunday, August 31 including an appearance from a character from the popular animated films.
Assistant manager Kirsty Gray said the event, which also included live music, face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling, was "brilliant".
"We haven't counted up how much we raised yet but all the kids really enjoyed meeting the Minion," she said.
"It was just a bit of a shame it was the same day as the fun day at the racecourse."
This was the third event fundraising for Macmillan the pub has held and Ms Gray said the pub was planning another fundraiser for St Patrick's Day next year.
