WORCESTER people can make a big splash towards a healthier lifestyle, during National Fitness Day, on Friday September 26.
Worcester Swimming Pool and Perdiswell Leisure Centre in Worcester will hold a selection of free fitness classes for the public, to introduce people to different activities and motivate them to get fit.
David Pugh, Contract Manager at both centres, said: “I hope that the local residents will feel encouraged to come along and try out a class on the day – maybe to try something they’ve never done before, or to get back into exercise.
"National Fitness Day is a great way for everyone in the community to get involved and motivate each other to work out."
He added: " A range of activities will be taking place at both centres on the day, and all of them will be free for both members and non-members. Activities include free core stability and abs classes, both of which are expected to be a big hit."
