AN APPEAL has been launched by police after three pubs were broken into within four hours.

The trio of boozers - one of which is in Worcester - were targeted in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, October 21).

An investigating officer from West Mercia Police has said it was "a possibility" the crimes were linked given the timeframe.

The Studley Sports and Social Club on Eldorado Close, Studley, was broken into at about 12.45am.

The alarm was activated and the intruders left empty handed.

The Timberdine Harvester on Bath Road, Worcester, was then broken into at about 2.45am and intruders made off with cash.

CCTV footage shows two men in dark clothes entering the premises.

The Studley Road Social Club in Redditch was broken into at about 4.15am and intruders again left the scene with cash.

Descriptions have been provided for two male suspects at the Studley Road Social Club break-in.

The first is described as being about 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, and wearing slim fitting jeans, a light coloured hooded top with a dark jacket over the top and trainers.

The second is described as being about the same height, of medium build, and wearing light coloured loose jogging bottoms with lines down the side, white trainers and black gloves.

DCI Dave Goosen said: “At the moment we don’t have evidence to confirm that these offences were carried out by the same people but given the timeframe and locations this is a possibility.

"If anyone was in the area at the time and saw anyone acting suspiciously or any suspicious vehicles then we are keen to hear from them.”

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote references 12 (Warwickshire Police), 42s (West Mercia Police) and 37s (West Mercia Police) of October 21.

Officers will be working with other licensed premises in the region to raise awareness of these offences and explain what they can do to reduce their chances of falling victim to crime.
