A GROUP of students from Fort Royal Community Primary School spent a "fabulous" day as mascots at Worcester City FC.
The youngsters were welcomed to the club with open arms and were immersed in the matchday experience.
They watched City grind out a 2-0 win against Harrogate Town on Saturday (October 18).
Fort Royal's grants administrator Margaret Jones said: "It was absolutely fabulous - more than we could've hoped for.
"All the children have got additional needs so for some of them to do something like that was quite a difficult thing.
"It's a big thing going into a new place with all that noise and all that razzmattaz.
"It was very special and hopefully something they'll be able to remember and talk about for a long time to come.
"Rich Widdowson and the directors couldn't have done anything more for us on the day - they were exceptional.
"They were great and each one of the players spent time with the children."
