A WORCESTER garden centre has created its own tribute to the spectacular poppy display at the Tower of London.
Laylocks Garden Centre in Bromyard Road created its own crimson tribute to those who gave their lives in the First World War at its entrance earlier this month, with cast iron poppies available for sale in aid of the Poppy Appeal.
The centre’s manager Andrew Sinclair said nearly 75 poppies - which can also be used as bird feeders - had been sold in just one week, raising almost £150 for the appeal, with donations still coming in.
