A CONVICTED rapist is wanted by police after failing to tell police he had moved to a new address.

Kye Calder, 25, is wanted for a breach of his notification requirements after he didn't notify the police about his move.

Calder was convicted of rape in October 2008 and sentenced to four years and six months in prison. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register indefinitely.

He had been living at an address in Kidderminster, however it is believed he no longer lives there and has failed to tell police, which he must do as part of his sex offender notification requirements.

DS Mark Roberts said: “We take any breach of notification requirements very seriously. I would urge anyone with information about where Kye Calder might be to contact us. If he sees this appeal himself, I would urge him to hand himself in to police immediately.”

Calder is also wanted for failing to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on November 7, where he was due to face one charge of assault, one charge of harassment and one public order offence.

He has links to both north and south Worcestershire, specifically Kidderminster and Droitwich.

Anyone who sees Calder is advised not to approach him but to dial 999 straight away.
