A NEW home store is to open in Worcester on Saturday creating dozens of new jobs.

Home Bargains will open its doors for the first time at 8.30am on Saturday when it is officially opened by the mayor, councillor Alan Amos.

The business is investing around £500,000 in the new Worcester store at Shrub Hill Retail Park and creating up to 50 new jobs.

This will be the first store to open in Worcester, joining 370 Home Bargains outlets across the country.

The 19,000 sq ft unit will give Worcester shoppers the chance to get their hands on bargains, including a great selection of homewares.

Home Bargains also stocks a range of top branded goods at fantastic value, including health and beauty, home style goods, sweets, snacks and drinks.
