THE CITY centre has had a new - but an entirely unwarranted - water feature spring up on the High Street.
A burst water main has caused water to spring up through the ground causing a large puddle outside Debenhams.
Severn Trent Water said they were called out to the burst pipe in the early hours of Tuesday (December 16) to inspect it.
They are working with Worcester City Council and will be fixing the leak between 6pm and 7pm tonight (Wednesday).
The spokeswoman said: "It is a very busy part of town and we want to do it as quickly as possible but at the same time we do not want to be causing chaos in the centre of town.
"We are sorry if it is causing issues for people.
"Fortunately, it is not flooding any properties and is not affecting the supply either."
