ONE lane of the A44 near Pinvin is closed after a car caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 9am and used two hoses and two breathing apparatus to put out the flames, but the car was damaged beyond repair.
The fire crews also worked to prevent petrol from getting into the drainage system.
Police are on scene directing traffic and highways officers from Worcestershire County Council are on their way to help clear debris from the road.
It is not yet known how the fire was caused but no one was hurt.
