POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a Droitwich man wanted for breaching bail conditions.
Ricky John Brooks broke his bail conditions which state he is not to enter retail premises in Droitwich Town Centre, after he entered a Peacocks store in St Andrews Square, Droitwich, on December 30.
Brooks, 32, was charged with theft from a store on December 16 and granted conditional bail until his sentencing at Worcester Crown Court on Friday, January 16.
Detective Inspector Stuart Murphy of Worcester Proactive CID, said: 'We need to speak to Mr Brooks and we are actively trying to locate him.
"He has been known to frequent Droitwich, Malvern and Bromsgrove but he may have returned to the Coventry area.
"If anyone knows of his whereabouts, we would ask them to please get in touch. If anyone does see this man they should not approach him but contact the police immediately.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0272 of 31st December 2014. Information can also be passed on anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
