POLICE in South Worcestershire had a busy Friday night dealing with cases of drink-fuelled violence and domestic abuse.

Officers tweeted from @SWorcsCops about their activities, writing at 10.51pm “several arrests for public order offences and officers having to intervene in others to prevent escalation".

At 12.11am they added: “Domestic abuse won't be tolerated in South Worcestershire. Two people in custody in the past 60 minutes.”

The final tweet came at 4.22am, describing “further arrests for drink fuelled violence in Worcester – and a drink driver now in the cells too”.
