A CAR crash in North Worcestershire left one person with a fractured ankle and two elderly people with leg pains – but all three luckily avoided more serious injuries.
The dramatic two car collision happened on the A38 Worcester Road in Upton Warren, near Bromsgrove, at 8.38pm yesterday (January 23).
Ambulance staff treated the casualties on-site before taking them to hospital.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bromsgrove also attended the scene and made the vehicles safe.
Paramedic Ben Pallante, of West Midlands Ambulance Service, tweeted about the incident, commenting that the three people involved were “lucky” to have escaped with injuries that were “thankfully minor”.
He also praised the “great teamwork” between the fire, police and ambulance staff present.
