The use of hydrotherapy to treat ailments and injuries as well as improve the feeling of well being goes back to ancient civilisation.

The Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Persians, Chinese and Japanese are all known to have used hot springs or hot water baths and today many spas and specialist treatment centres offer hydrotherapy facilities.

Many of us opt for a spa hotel break as a bit of a treat to help with relaxation or simply for a bit of decadent pampering.

But those who take their hydrotherapy seriously and are considering buying their own hot tub are being invited to take their cozzies along to the Jacuzzi Hydrotherapy Centre at Webbs Garden Centre, Wychbold, near Droitwich, where they can do the ultimate ‘try before you buy’ in the wet test area.

Jacuzzi claims its latest J-300 model offers more powerful jets which have been positioned to provide a more effective hydromassage at the key nerve centres of the back and lumbar region. It says jets have also been placed higher up in the seats for a great neck and shoulder massage, also allowing the jets to target specific areas.

“We offer a guide to customers on ‘The path to Wellness’ showing how each seat in our hot tubs uses different jets to create that unique experience that we’re so proud of,” the company says.
