A PENNY farthing and a coat full of badges are just two of the items turning back the clock at a city museum.
Worcester Art Gallery and Museum on Foregate Street is hosting the 'An Englishman Abroad' exhibition until October 31.
The exhibition charts the history and stories of travel by those who left the county, drawing on the fine art, decorative art, social history and ethnography collections of both Worcester City Museums and Worcestershire County Museum.
Helen Large, marketing and events manager at Museums Worcestershire, said: "The exhibition is a really interesting mix of art and artefacts and it includes some fascinating items. Anyone who has ever travelled in to or out of Worcestershire will enjoy the exhibition.
"It tells the stories of not only those who left behind our shores to travel the world but also whose who left behind the conventions of their day to travel by bicycle, steam train or motorcycle in to the countryside and seaside towns of Great Britain."
