A group of past students and parents of current students are taking on a massive cycle challenge to benefit a St John's primary school.
The riders, with links to Pitmaston Primary School, are set to cycle from Land's End to the school so pupils can be provided with iPads to help with their learning.
A number of businesses have backed the Landsend2Pitmaston challenge, as have 12 riders who are currently training, in preparation of taking on the more than 250 mile trek.
The fundraising bike ride is scheduled to go ahead May 13 to May 16.
There is still space for around three more people to sign up to the challenge, regardless of ability or fitness, and more local businesses are being called on to help with transporting kit, accommodation and other needs too.
Training takes place once a week for two to three hours, starting from the school, and is often held on Sundays.
