FIREFIGHTERS had a busy night dealing with car fires in Worcestershire.
An engine fault caused a vehicle in Stourport to emit excessive smoke on the A4025 at 8.35pm yesterday, while at 9.38pm a car in a field was alight off Batchcombe Lane, Storridge.
Police attended the latter incident and a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Malvern used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
At 3.37am today a car fire in Truro Drive, Kidderminster, was also attended by firefighters who put out the blaze using two hose reel jets.
