NEWLY married husbands will have no excuse to dodge the household jobs thanks to a brand new course being offered by a Worcester hotel.

The Whitehouse Hotel, Foregate Street, Worcester, has launched a special Groom Academy to help transform the most undomesticated men into perfect husbands-to-be.

The hotel is offering a unique package including a number of practical tutorials which will help husbands hone their skills and keep their wives happy throughout married life. The topics covered will include cooking, basic house-keeping and cocktail making for special occasions.

Groom Academy students will be taught some essential housekeeping and cocktail-making skills by the hotel’s skilled staff before undertaking a crash course in cooking.

The Worcester hotel’s experienced chef will take participating men through a step-by-step guide on how to make a range of delicacies to impress on those special occasions.

Grooms who are married at the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel will also receive an annual reminder text to ensure they never forget an anniversary.

Lastly, husbands-to-be can sign up for an optional personal training session at the hotel’s state-of-the-art gym, to help keep their brides blushing.

The package also includes a three course meal at the hotel’s Foregates Brasserie, an overnight stay and breakfast. The Worcester Whitehouse Groom Academy package is available from £198 based on two people sharing, or £129 per single room. For more information call 01905 24308 or email events@worcswhitehouse.com.

Rachael Mitchell, General Manager at The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel said: “We pride ourselves on hosting lavish, romantic wedding days that create truly special memories for brides and grooms as they celebrate the start of their lives together.

“However we also recognise that there are lots of other factors that help make a happy marriage last. That’s why we’ve launched our exclusive academy to groom men to become perfect husbands who know how to keep the romance alive.

“Our cocktail and cooking classes will help men spoil their future wives and our reminder text service will even help dispel any potential arguments between forgetful fellas and their better halves.”
