ONE of Worcester’s premier independent companies has launched a brand new website in anticipation of its 30th birthday later this year.

Insitu Furniture, which has been trading from Worcester’s picturesque Friar Street since 1985, has launched a new e-commerce website.

The brand new site at www.insitufurniture.co.uk gives customers the chance to view the wide range of products from the Stressless collection, with more ranges to be added very soon.

Owner and founder Jonathan Macmillan said the bespoke website will make online shopping easy.

“For most people shopping online can be a bit of a daunting process,” he said.

“We want to defuse that process while making sure our customers get the very best service.

“We’re not like a big department store – we’re a small team but we have the expertise built up over 29 years and we guarantee to offer the best prices whenever we can.”

Jonathan added the site could also operate as an interactive online catalogue, where customers could spend time researching the range of products on offer before visiting the shop.

“There are some people who choose not to do transactions online,” he said. “That’s why we’re here; we can now offer the very best of both.”

“ We are a part of the evolving community of Friar Street, which continues to be the premier location for Worcester’s independent retailers.

The website currently includes details on the shop’s Stressless and Collins and Hayes products, but is due to be expanded to include ranges from Fama, Rom, Ligne Roset, Calligaris, Varier and lots more, including a range of exclusive online offers. There are also photos of all the staff so customers know exactly who they’ll be dealing with.

Jonathan said he is excited for customers new and old to see the new site.

“The website and Facebook page will be changing all the time, so with regular additions we can keep our customers updated with the latest offers,” he said.

“Times are changing for the better – and so are we.”
