THIS is the dress that has sparked debate around the world, and it's on sale at CrownGate shopping centre in Worcester.

The dress took the internet by storm overnight on Thursday and was the top trend on Twitter worldwide, as a debate broke out as to its true colours.

Some people see the dress as white and gold, while others see black and blue.

In fact, the discussion even made it into celebrity households with Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West disagreeing over the colour of the dress.

It is in fact a trick of the light and the viewers eyes that means two people may see something very different in the original image, which was posted on social networking sites.

The dress is in fact black and blue and is sold by Roman Originals fashion store, which has a branch in Worcester's CrownGate shopping centre, where the dress is on now display.

The bodycon outfit costs £50 and is available in four different colours, blue, white, red and pink, all with a black lace pattern, although manufacturers have said they will produce a white and gold version.

So far the dress has yet to cause a stir at Roman in Worcester.

Kate Ford, manager of the Worcester branch, said: "We thought it might create a bit of a buzz but we haven't had people asking about it yet.

"It's definitely the black and blue, that's all I can see. It's been causing a debate definitely. It's listed as being royal blue.

"We have put it up in the window now and people have been stopping to look at it and debating it. A group of girls stopped earlier and I said I bet they are debating the colour.

"We found out about it this morning when we arrived at work. They are going to try and get a white and gold version in production now.

"We hope to get a few more people in over the weekend, it's good to see."
