Established in 2009, Britannia are innovative and creative Roofing and Cladding Sub-Contractors working throughout England and Wales offering a Design and Build Service.

In 2014 some of their completed projects were three new national Asda Superstores, a Pets at Home in Bromsgrove and Zip Textiles in Birmingham.

They have secured Sales Receipts for 2015 in excess of £5million to date, one of which is the Malvern Hills Science Park.

The new Oncology Centre at Worcester Royal Hospital was named Lend Lease Project of the Year at their Public Sector awards dinner, which Britannia were nominated for as Supply Chain partner of the year.

Their nomination, made by Kevin Gosney of Lend Lease, had the following comments:

"We were extremely impressed with the company’s commitment to quality during all stages of the construction process from design coordination through to production of contractors management plans, ITP plans, quality checks and sign-offs on site, which is evident in the end product.

"The culture of the whole Britannia team was second to none, nothing was a problem and the project was a great success mainly due to their proactive approach and willingness to work with the other contractors on site and ourselves as principal contractor"

Andrew Raven from Lend Lease had this to say:

"Congratulations on winning The Worcester Radiotherapy safety League Table for Dec/Jan.

"As a new contractor to Lend Lease there is always a certain amount of trepidation before commencement on site. However, I have to say Britannia have been a breath of fresh air.

"Your safety performance to date has been exemplary, and the guys on site have been a pleasure to work with, Well Done!"

One of the policies Britannia is proud of is using local people and suppliers wherever possible, keeping as much of their business as possible within the county.

Britannia's supply chain have been of great support to them in helping them to make this much-needed Oncology Centre as green as possible in the delivering of goods.

The Rigisystems Roofing was made and delivered from Blackpole Trading Estate; Fabrications came from Alpha & HJA came from Kempsey and Pershore. The Site Welders are from Altech, based in Hallow, and Martin Welham, the Safety Advisor from Safety Does It, also lives in the county.

It is not just on site they like to use local suppliers; their offices in Hallow are also supported by Worcester-based companies.

Accountant Kendall Wadley is based in Malvern, while Insurance Brokers Hazelton Mountford  are based in Worcester city centre.

The office is also supported by Richard Coglan Photocopiers, and they purchase all their personalised and branded 'Personal Protective Equipment' locally with the help of Job Togs Work Wear, on the Tything.

Britannia Site Solutions Ltd, their staff and supply chain partners are all extremely proud to have been involved in delivering this key facility for the people of Worcestershire.
