MODELS will be strutting their stuff in the latest bridal fashions at the biggest wedding fair to hit the three counties this weekend.

About 40 different bride's and bridesmaids' dresses, along with men's suits for hire, will be shown off at two catwalk shows at the Worcester News Three Counties Bridal Show.

Sarah Bowman, of A-Z Wedding Services in Stourport-on-Severn, who is organising the two shows, said it would be the ideal way for brides-to-be to get inspiration for their big day.

"There will be all sorts of different styles - from contemporary gowns with ruffles to sleek, elegant chiffon numbers," she said.

Brides will also have the chance to win the dress of their dreams, worth up to £1,000, from A-Z Wedding Services, simply by turning up to the show and registering their details.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view more than 100 stands promoting everything from photography to cakes, caterers, floristry and transport.

There were more than 1,500 visitors to last October's successful event - the first of its kind.

They came from across the three counties and further afield, with one couple even coming all the way from Abergavenny in south Wales.

All were impressed with the ideas and inspiration they went away with.

The show's organiser, Worcester News events manager Sara Matthews, said: "The first Three Counties Showground Bridal Show in October was a massive success and we had a great response from the exhibitors and visitors alike. Hopefully, this event will be even better.

"It's the perfect way to get ideas for your big day from local companies who have lots of advice and information to offer."

The event is at the Three Counties showground's Severn Hall - accessible through the yellow gate - from 11am to 3.30pm.

Entry and parking are free.
