ANOTHER pair of lucky Worcester News readers will join the ranks of finalists for our Win a Car competition.
Royston Smith and Charles Garfield, both from Worcester, were our week five winners and will go forward to join the 14 other finalists in a gala event at Listers next month.
Mr Smith, aged 38, from Avening Close, Warndon, said he had entered the competition because he desperately needed a car.
"My car is being scrapped four days after the competition," he said.
"I've got a one-in-16 chance, which is quite good, really. I can't ever remember winning a competition."
His fellow week five finalist Mr Garfield, of Sheldon Park Road, Bevere, Worcester, said: "I'm really excited. My wife's car is very old so we could do with a new one. I've never won anything like that before - £10 on the lottery is the limit."
