NECK and neck down the home straight, these canoeists take advantage of the floods on Worcester's Pitchcroft racecourse.
Much of the county lay underwater last week after the Severn burst its banks for the second time this year.
Sporting venues were hit, including Worcestershire County Cricket Club's New Road ground and Pitchcroft, but luckily neither venue was scheduled to host any events. Which left these early-evening paddlers free to cross the finishing line as the moon rose overhead. Pictures by Simon Rogers. 10171401
