A WOMAN was attacked as she walked home from a pub in Drakes Broughton, near Pershore.
The victim was scratched and had her t-shirt torn but she did not need hospital treatment.
She did not see or hear her attacker and does not know if it was a man or woman.
A South Worcestershire Police spokesman said they were appealing for witnesses.
He said: "This appears to be an unprovoked attack and without any obvious motive.
"They may have seen something that, at the time, did not register as suspicious. Now they know that a woman has been assaulted, they may recall it and have information helpful to our enquiry."
Police want to hear from anyone who was at or near the car park between the Old Oak public house and Lewis Close between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on Sunday, March 11.
They can be contacted on 08457 444 888, quoting 680S/110307, or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
