COMMUNITY groups in Worcester that need a funding boost can now access a share of a £100,000 funding pot to help deliver activities and projects.
The funding has been made available by Sanctuary Group's Grand Ideas Fund, which will offer up to £1,000 to local groups across the country.
The housing and care provider is now inviting applications for a share of the funding from charities, community groups and voluntary organisations.
Projects supported through the funding stream will address one or more of five key themes — employment, education, skills and training; health and wellbeing; community safety and infrastructure; environment; financial inclusion.
Marie-Claire Berreen, Sanctuary Group’s head of community investment, said: “The money we are making available through our Grand Ideas Fund is more than ever before and we aim to support as many groups as possible so they can deliver local activities and make a real difference to people’s lives.”
