A festival of music is set to go ahead in both Malvern and Worcester in aid of charity, kicking off today (Friday, May 22).

First off, The Marrs Bar in Worcester hosts a night of live entertainment tonight from 7.30pm, with the Marrs Barr House Band headlining the event.

Tickets for the event are £3, or can be paid for on the door for £5.

On Saturday, the Lewis Boulton Trio headlines the music bonanza at Great Malvern Hotel, from 8pm.

On Sunday, a number of bands will be rocking the stage The Morgan, also in Malvern. Proceedings get underway at 12pm.

Proceeds from these events will go towards Cancer Research UK.

The festival comes to a conclusion on Monday night, when Freaky Trigger headline the event at the The Cave, also in Malvern.

In added touch, the parents of Andy Hurrell, who passed away recently, will be performing on stage too with their band Miss Pearl and the Rough Diamonds.

Proceeds from the event on Monday, which gets underway at 4pm, will go towards the motor neurons disease charity- the disease that claimed Mr Hurrell's life.
