ALTHOUGH more accustomed to selling clothes than modelling, staff of a Worcester fashion store will be strutting their stuff on the catwalk in aid of charity next month.
The team at Bonmarche are hosting a fashion show and will be giving supermodels a run for their money when they model the store's clothes, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Worcester's own Blobby Williams will be the special guest performer and judge for the show, the second of its type the store has hosted. The previous fashion event raised more than £800 for Cancer Research UK., when held in 2013.
Lynnette Key, sales assistant of the store and one of the event organisers, said: "It will be a good event and should be fun for everyone. Everyone involved is looking forward to it.
"The last fashion show we held was a big success, and we hope this one will be too."
As well as singing and modelling, there will also a number of stalls selling jewellery, clothing, accessories and all things fashion. There will also be a raffle with a range of prizes on offer.
It is scheduled to go ahead on Monday, June 1 at The Pavilion In The Park, in St John's, Worcester, from 7.30pm
Tickets are priced at £6.
