Hundreds of walkers strode out in the sunshine across the Malvern Hills to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice for this year's hills walk.

More than 275 walkers were celebrating 31 years of the annual St Richard’s Hospice Malvern Hills Walk. Walkers of all ages stepped out on either the 11 mile, five or two mile routes.

Organiser Lizzie Brazier, of St Richard’s Hospice, said: "It was a beautiful sunny day, the bluebells were stunning and the views across the hills were fantastic. Everyone had a great day.

"We would also like to give a big thanks to all the volunteers who helped on the day and the Malvern sea cadets for supplying the refreshments."

It is hoped this year's event will eventually raise around £16,000 for the hospice.

The Malvern Hills Walk went ahead on Saturday, May 16.
