A BUDDHIST teacher is to visit Worcester this weekend.
Lama Shenpen Hookham is a recognised teacher in the Tibetan Kagyu Karma tradition and in the 1970s lived as a nun in India.
She has written several books of Buddhist teachings and is the founder of the Awakened Heart Sangha.
She will give a public talk hosted by the Worcester Awakening Heart Buddhist Group at the Friends' Meeting House in Sansome Walk, Worcester, from 7pm on Friday, June 26 followed by a full day's teaching at the same venue the following day.
Both events are ticketed and booking ahead is essential.
