Splashpad breaks down as heatwave set to arrive
A HEATWAVE is set to arrive in Worcester this week - but will children be able to enjoy a popular water play area?
In a twist of unfortunate timing, the splashpad in Gheluvelt Park broke down today and is need of urgent repair.
Contractors will however be on-site tomorrow morning and hope to mend the broken facility on the same day.
Worcester City Council confirmed the problem on its Facebook page, adding: "We are so sorry - and will keep you posted."
