A BARGE was adrift on the canal in Worcester today.
It was seen floating away from its mooring between bridges six and eight on the Worcester and Birmingham canal near Pizza Hut, George Street, Shrub Hill.
Stephie Loomes, who spotted the boat adrift, said: "The police were called about 9.30am, but it is still there."
Gayley Pants, who also saw the boat (called The Hornet) said: "I'm not sure if the boat had moved while the occupants were sleeping or not, I hope it hadn't been stolen!"
