STAFF at a business travel agency have raised almost £10,000 for their chosen charity after a series of fundraising events and activities.
The ArrangeMy team raised the money for Macmillan Cancer Support during the past year and presented their grand total to Kelly Whitehouse from the charity.
The team, who are based at Berkeley Business Park, Wainwright Road, raised a total of £9,875 after they organised a number of charitable events such as a pig roast, coffee morning, cake sale and raffles.
They also helped the charity by taking part in a collection outside a Worcester supermarket.
Simon Scott, chief executive of the firm, said: "We decided to fundraise for Macmillan during the last year as we asked staff to nominate the charity of their choice and then take a vote on it.
“Macmillan was the clear winner and since then everybody has been keen to help as much as they can.
“We’ve hosted a number of fundraising activities over the last year and everyone here has been so enthusiastic about raising money for such a worthy cause. I’m delighted that we were able to present this cheque today.”
