FRIENDS of two men found dead at their home in Wichenford have been paying tribute at the Worcester News Facebook page over the weekend.

Martin Winfield and Alan Green were found in the swimming pool of their home by family members after Mr Winfield had failed to turn up for work at Reddiplex in Droitwich. Police are not treating the matter as suspicious at this time.

The two men had been due to enter a civil partnership on August 1, after having been together for three years.

Mr Winfield was well known locally as a music lover, DJ and lifelong Spurs fan, and has three children, Steve, Claire and Paul.

Linda George: I'm still struggling with this news a week later. Only two weeks earlier Alan was giving me a hug and a kiss and buzzing round his Open Garden, dodging the showers, at his usual mile a minute speed. We'd known Alan over 20 years.

Nicola Walker: Your dad was a great bloke, always a joy to talk to and just loved the discos he put on.

Tyrone Fearnehough: Both Martin and Alan were just great guys and fabulous friends. Alan raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity. Martin was the best bloke you could meet, many a pint of Guinness was consumed at the Mason's Arms.

Sharon Blackwell: Sorry to hear this sad news, I worked at Reddiplex, I knew Martin very well, he was a very nice friendly man who you could have a laugh with. My thoughts are with the family.

Dave Pyestar: Work will never be the same without Martin, we will all miss him so much. A lovely tribute.

Kate Donovan: A truly lovely man, he would drop everything for a friend in need. We thought the world of him. So sad that he has gone, heartbroken for his family.

Jan Fenby: Only just heard this devastating news. I'm heartbroken for his family. This earth has lost one of the best human beings that ever walked on it. My shifts at the Mug House were always transformed into a thoroughly enjoyable evening whenever Martin came in.

Debbie Fowler Maryon: It doesn't seem fair that this could happen to such a lovely bloke. We always used to say when we left work for the weekend - missing you already. Well I'm really going to miss you mate.

Steve Williams: Awful tragedy, l knew Martin through drinking in the Mug House pub and his son Steve. Mart was a staunch Spurs fan. Just a real nice guy.

Caroline Gardner: I can't believe you are gone! A true gentleman and legend! The best DJ anyone could ask for! Truly amazing! You did me proud on my 50th birthday. You will be truly missed!! God bless!!!

Sean Taylor: So sad to hear the news used to do the panto Alan did every year amazing person.

Amy Jane Baker: Sadly never really got to know Martin but have known Alan for a few years from Monday night group panto. They will be sadly missed.

Joanne Wallis: Alan will be sadly missed by all the panto girls. He was such a major part of the whole thing for them. Our thoughts are with both families.

Bethany Pettifer: Thoughts go out to both families. Alan will be missed by all at Crescents Ballet School who were involved with Alan's panto group.

Fiona Sweeney: Alan and Martin! Two great guys who did a lot for the village. So sad at this happy time in their lives. Still can't believe it as only saw Alan two days before."
