A Worcester taxi driver escaped unhurt after being robbed of about £70 by two men he drove from the Breeeze night-club in Tybridge Street to Henwick Grove.
The incident happened at about 2.30am on Friday when the men ignored three "London' taxis waiting outside the club and climbed into one which does not separate off the driver from his passengers.
Police are studying CCTV footage of the men getting into the taxi, but want to hear from anyone who saw them there, or the robbery at Worcester University car park, Henwick Grove.
The taxi driver saw only one of the two men, who is described as 6ft tall, with heavily-pitted skin and short, black hair.
Anyone with details should call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 184S/200407.
