THE father of the famous Walton sextuplets will talk about his experience raising six girls in the media spotlight at an event in aid of a Worcester hospice.

Graham Walton and his wife Janet from Liverpool were thrust into the spotlight after becoming parents to sextuplets in 1983. The Walton girls – Hannah, Luci, Ruth, Sarah, Kate and Jennie – were the first surviving set of all-female sextuplets in the world and are now aged 32.

Mr Walton will speak about his experiences at a lunch event at the Wood Norton hotel near Evesham in aid of St Richard’s Hospice on Wednesday, September 16.

Community fundraiser at the hospice Alison Parkes said: “We are delighted to welcome Graham to our lunch event and are looking forward to hearing his inspiring tale of parenthood.

“He will be talking about how he and his wife Janet overcame the challenges of bringing up sextuplets and amusing stories about their unique family life.

“Places are limited for this event, so we would encourage people to secure their tickets to avoid disappointment.”
