A COLOUR blind photographer got his teeth into a tasty challenge during the weekend's Worcester Foodie Festival.

Inspired by Worcester New's Ten things you must do at the festival, Dave Dunbar set out to capture all of the stalls, chefs and food mentioned in the article.

Over the two days he took pictures of people enjoying demonstrations by top chefs or tucking into some of the delicious food and drink on offer.

The 49-year-old from St John's, Worcester, said: "I am a keen amateur photographer, who loves taking photos of local events in and around Worcester.

"Recently I've been to fun days, fairs and music festivals, so when I heard about the Worcester Foodie Festival, I just knew I had to pop along.

"As it got closer to Foodie Fortnight, I read the Worcester News article Ten things you absolutely must see, do or eat at Worcester Foodie Festival this weekend, which got me thinking.

"To improve as a photographer, you need to set yourself challenges, and one way is to capture different types of subjects over a period of time.

"The list gave me the opportunity to do this, as I had to adapt to the settings for each of those things.

"For example, the free food demos were in CrownGate, where the light was very different to that outside where Belle D'Vain were performing."
