Support available to get into exporting

I am pleased to say our SMEs are already leading the way in exporting. It has recently been reported in the new ‘Great British Export Report’, which was compiled by FedEx the express transport company, that 52 per cent of their small business customers in Worcester are exporting.
On average these SMEs are exporting £39,652 more per month to Europe than they import – a higher figure than anywhere else in Britain.
For first time exporters, there is excellent support available. The next Worcestershire Innovation Wednesday, which is being hosted by QinetiQ on August 19, could also help you to take those important first steps as the focus will be on International Opportunities and UKTI will be on hand to help and offer guidance.
