AN Evesham man has been charged with 16 offences involving indecent photographs and also the sexual grooming of a child.
Andrew Watkins, aged 52, of Forest Gate, Evesham, was charged at Solihull Magistrates Court through a video link while he remained in his cell. Watkins was charged with two counts of sexually grooming a 13-year-old girl.
He was further charged with eight counts of making an indecent photograph and six charges of distributing an indecent photograph. The offences are alleged to have occurred between Thursday, February 22 and Friday, March 16 this year.
Watkins was remanded in custody for a further two weeks pending his committal to Warwick Crown Court.
