A NURSING home in Worcester has been rated 'good' by a health watchdog.
The Shrubbery Nursing Home in Shrubbery Avenue, Worcester, was visited by the Care Quality Commission in June and a report was published on Wednesday, August 19.
Inspectors wrote: "People's health needs were understood by staff who knew how to manage their health safely.
"People were well cared for and staff were seen providing positive examples of care. People were treated with dignity and respect."
The home, which provides accommodation for a maximum of 36 people requiring nursing or personal care, achieved four key care criteria for being a safe, effective, caring and well-led service.
But inspectors stated it requires improvement in terms of being a responsive service.
