Get your creative juices flowing this autumn, at the Worcester Arts Workshop

This small arts centre on Sansome Street has one of the most varied programmes in the city and on September 7 it starts its ever popular art courses for adults and children.

A spokesman said: "We have a team of experienced artists and practitioners offering a varied programme of courses including: pottery, bookmaking, ceramics, life drawing, watercolour painting alongside mixed medium drawing and painting.

"We are also delighted that this season we are joined by the Workers’ Educational Association for Adults (WEA) who are offering a Calligraphy for Beginner’s course, which is free to those receiving income related benefits.

The workshops are open to everyone and there are classes to suit all abilities."

Saturday September 12 sees the start of our arts programme for children and young people.

The Kids Art Club for 5 to 11 year olds will run between 10am and 11am, when children can come and experiment with different art materials.

The spokesman said: "However, if they want to get really messy we also have two sessions of Kids Pottery Club every Saturday, 10am to11am or 11.15am to 12.15pm. For those who are a bit older and are passionate about art we have Teenager’s Art sessions from 10am – 11.30am."
