ONE of Worcestershire's best known tourist attractions is to star in a popular BBC One drama this weekend.

Witley Court, near Worces-ter, is the venue for a bizarre murder in Sunday's episode of Dalziel and Pascoe at 9pm. Scenes from the BBC drama were filmed at Witley Court last autumn. The episode also stars film actor Richard E Grant.

Mark Badger, head of visitor operations for Witley Court, said: "It was quite a change for Witley Court to be featured in a drama series; we've featured on Songs Of Praise and the Antiques Roadshow before, but this episode uses the haunting ruins of Witley Court as the backdrop to a story about a Halloween murder, hypnotism and the paranormal."

Witley Court is open every day from 10am to 5pm. Admission is £5.40 for adults and £2.70 for children.
