FOLLOWING the success of last year's inaugural events, Worcester's CrownGate Shopping Centre is again opening its doors exclusively to students after hours.

The retail complex is holding its fourth Student Takeover on Thursday, October 15 for two hours between 6pm and 8pm. Students will be able to enjoy a host of in-store discounts of up to 20 per cent, exclusive on-the-night offers, goody bags and freebies during the event, plus live entertainment and a free photobooth. This year, you will see the addition of a bungee run, for those who like a challenge.

Sara Matthews, CrownGate marketing manager, said: “The Student Takeover continues to grow year after year, with more shops getting involved, offering more generous discounts and freebies. Last year we introduced some new elements to the event, including a free photobooth, which went down a storm, so we’re having two this year: one by New Look and one by House of Fraser. We also have some fantastic giveaways for shoppers who spend on the night, including two Emporio Armani watches from Ice Fine Jewellery, worth £199 each and Skull Candy headphones from HMV, to name but a few. There will also be discounts and giveaways at eateries in the food quarter."

At the end of the evening, there will be prize draws, one of which is the chance to win £500 in CrownGate shopping vouchers, for everyone who pre-registered for the event online, plus some special goody bags from CrownGate shops. CrownGate has once again teamed up with the University of Worcester, Heart of Worcestershire College, Worcester BID and Mode to put on the evening.

Pre-registration for the event is now live online at www.crowngate-worcester.co.uk/takover2015/. For event updates, search for CrownGate Shopping Centre on Facebook and Twitter.
